I arrived in Woods Hole yesterday afternoon, and was greeted by a wall of fog. And rain. I guess this is why vacationers stay away from the Cape until later in the year.

Here is a photo of the desk I’ll be blogging from this week, from an austere dorm room in the MBL’s Swope building. It comes complete with a desk-rocking chair hybrid (I bet you’ve never see one of these before!)

And now, time to go exploring in the fog before class starts.
