Kyoto
In November 2011, I traveled to Kyoto, Japan to attend that year’s Kyoto Prize ceremony and related lectures, as well as to interview two of the three laureates. Photography wasn’t allowed at most of the Kyoto Prize events, so this gallery includes photos from the day and a half I spent as a tourist (although, there are some photos from two of the formal Kyoto Prize dinners). For a few photos from the Kyoto Prize ceremony, courtesy of the Inamori Foundation, please see my blog entry on the experience.
